Business Developer

A self-motivated business developer, with confidence in sales and not afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone. Able to work and communicate with distributors, wheelchair services, special education schools and healthcare professionals to uncover and develop business opportunities. We are not looking for a MBA desk-bound and researcher. You will be helping us to deliver Aergo to our users' hands, generating positive health impact for our users.

Understanding of design processes, health tech and disability products are all a big bonus.

The Role:

Your primary role will be developing Aergo's business strategy to generate sales. This will involve:

- Research on sales channels
- Communicating with special education schools, hospitals, wheelchair services, occupational therapists, physiotherapists to understand the market
- Meet and secure potential distributors and key business partners
- Attending conferences/Trade shows to promote Aergo
- Identifying competitions and researching on their business strategy
- Identifying and acquiring sales channels
- Raise orders
- Work with CEO to fundraise (Investment & grant funding)

As well as this, you will be heavily involved in all aspects of the business, working closely with the product team. This will involve:

- Attending user testings
- Setting up/participating trade shows
- Participating in design process
- Brainstorming on product ideas

Electronics Engineer

Your primary role will be developing Aergo's electronics hardware. This will involve:

- Work collaboratively with design and engineering colleagues to create innovative hardware solutions that solve real-world problems.
- Develop electronic systems and PCB boards with components such as microcontrollers, user displays, pumps, and wireless/sensor technologies that meet project specifications and EN 60601 and EN 61000 Standards
- Perform comprehensive hardware, firmware and software diagnostics to troubleshoot, verify and validate devices in order to meet operational requirements
- Create technical documentation to manufacturer specifications to support the development and mass production of components
- Coordinate with product development team to prototype, maintain and upgrade integrated electronics for commercial and medical devices.

Knowledge & Experiences:

- HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant hardware/electronics engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in consumer/medical electronics/embedded systems design, with exposure to all stages of product development lifecycle from ideation to production
- Knowledge of electronic systems and computer hardware, including circuit board design using CAD software
- Experience with firmware or software development - ideally proficient in C/C++ and embedded software development environments.
- Experience working with Bluetooth LE or other wireless network equivalents  
- Management of hardware production processes, quality assurance and cost control to maximise effective prototyping and manufacture of devices.
